US Intends Permanent Occupation of Iraq

There will be no withdrawl.

It doesn't matter whether you support the president, or want to "Stay the Course". 

America will permanently occupy Iraq.  No amount of petitioning, protesting, or grandstanding will change it.

The only thing that will possibly change this course it the removal of Republicans from positions of power at every level of state and federal government.

"Elections have consequences," quoth Mr. Bush.  Witness, Democrats the consequences of your failure to retake the American government for the people.

While I agree that the national Democratic machine really stumbled badly in the last two elections... and seems bound and determined to repeat their foolishness again. Nevertheless, let's not forget the monumental voter fraud, voter intimidation, and manipulation that went on, not just in Ohio and Florida but across the country.

The entire system is so tainted now that it is no wonder people have lost confidence in the integrity of their vote, and have increasingly opted out, not voting at all. The system must be repaired or democracy hasn't got a chance.
