Shawn O'Donnell: Historic Opportunity in VA 01

As many of you know from reading about me in Raising Kaine, I am one of the two candidates for Congress in Virginia's 1st District.  On May 13th at a Convention in Williamsburg, I intend to be the designated Democratic Party nominee, tasked with winning the 1st. 

I entered the race because I understand how imperative it is we take back Congress and because I know that, with a lot of help from Democrats across the 1st, across Virginia, and across the Nation, can win on November 7th.  Virginia's 1st will then be represented by a Democrat not some radical right wing Republican rubber stamp.

This is a historic opportunity Virginians and Americans can not waste.  I ask every Democrat to get busy NOW, on the campaign of your choice, so that on November 7th we improve Virginia Democrats terrible record of holding only 3 of 13 seats in Congress.  Are we willing to sacrifice to turn Virginia blue in 2006?

I'm doing whatever it takes to put Virginia's 1st into the D column and we can sure use your help.
