What Would Mark Warner Do?

This was a question I had in an earlier thread, about where is Mark Warner? Warner helped raise funds for Miller (that was booked before Webb was in the race), but I haven't heard much out of the Warner group since that thing.

I hope Warner is going to stay out of it until after the primary and then endorse the winner of the primary. I don't want to see amunition built against Warner because he backed the wrong primary horse. Now, that's pandering, but there's a lot of weight to be thrown around there.

Mark Warner would (Josh - 4/6/2006 1:39:00 PM)
Stand up for himself and not hide behind other people.

Build a strong coalition of supporters without splitting the party

Make Virginians excited about being Democrats, not sick to their stomachs

Energize the base, while reaching across party, ethnic, and economic lines to build a stronger Virginia...

Essentially, Mark Warner would do everything Harris Miller hasn't.

You said it, Josh! (Lowell - 4/6/2006 1:42:13 PM)
But I'd still love to see a Mark Warner fundraiser for Jim Webb.  What a great combo...and just think of this:  Warner/Clark or Clark/Warner in 2008, with Jim Webb as US Senator from Virginia backing them?  Would that be awesome or what?

Amen to that! nt (Josh - 4/6/2006 1:43:15 PM)
