There are lots of reasons the United States should reduce its "addiction" to oil consumption and imports. Global warming, dependence on unstable regimes, terrorism...these are just a few. Think about those two stories the next time you're filling up your car, SUV, Hummer, etc. Do we really want to be indefinitely dependent on the Middle East for our oil supplies? Right, I didn't think so. And is George W. Bush doing anything about it, besides saying we're "addicted" to oil? Right, I didn't think so.
