Ingrid Morroy for James Webb!

When I first got involved in politics in the U.S., as an immigrant from South America, party politics confused the heck out of me, especially at the national level. I wondered how many politicians and candidates at that level truly looked out for the interests of common people like you and me.  Then I heard about Jim Webb and the grassroots effort to convince him to run. After reading about him, I met Jim, and I decided to fully support him, because he is a populist with a pragmatic view of the world.

Jim Webb believes strongly in service to country, he is charismatic, and he is an independent thinker.  Moreover, Webb has a program: ideas and positions on issues such as healthcare, civil liberties, social justice, fair trade, and the Iraq invasion. He is exactly what we need in Virginia.  Jim Webb is the only candidate who can take back this U.S. Senate seat for the Democrats.  However, to do that, Jim must raise money.  LOTS OF IT!  IN THREE WEEKS!  I urge you to click here and contribute as much as you can.  Jim Webb is our only hope to beat George Allen in the fall!

Thank you for your support!

Great work, J.C. I (Lowell - 4/4/2006 11:34:00 PM)
Great work, J.C.  I completely agree with you on the importance of signatures.  Everyone who wants Webb to be our next Senator, please get out there and knock this out so we can focus on the issues, George Allen, etc.

Don't forget signatu (JC - 4/4/2006 11:34:00 PM)
Don't forget signatures! He needs petition signatures too!

I picked up 287 today, along with my volunteers.  It takes time and planning to collect signatures: don't leave this until the last moment.

Ingrid and her boss, (Zoomer - Arlington - 4/4/2006 11:34:00 PM)
Ingrid and her boss, Frank O'Leary, want me to keep putting a $25 sticker on my windshield every year. Ingrid, can you sing "Let's get with the 21st Century?"

As for "Tailhook Jim" Webb, he's another macho bozo like Allen. As for Harris "H1B" Miller, he's worse than Allen and Webb combined. At least they don't want to replace me with a foreign worker here on a temporary work visa.

That's not very nice (DanG - 4/4/2006 11:34:00 PM)
That's not very nice, TC!  Of course, it's no Byrne or Chap, but it's an endorsment in an area that usually has a high turnout in the primaries.

By the way, thanks for being a nice Republican and admitting that Allen would wipe the floor with Miller.  Your honest, at least :) .

Miller for Senate.. (Too Conservative - 4/4/2006 11:34:00 PM)
Miller for Senate..

so allen can win!

Weak endorsement (Too Conservative - 4/4/2006 11:34:00 PM)

Ingrid is a babe! (Ben - 4/4/2006 11:34:00 PM)

I just read the comm (Teddy - 4/4/2006 11:34:01 PM)
I just read the comments (I have a day job and sometimes arrive late at the party, sorry(. Zoomer - Arlington, your comment about Tail-hook is sort of the same mistake I made originally when I first heard Webb was running. But I did the research--- which is a good idea, rather than shoot from the hip, as you and Mr. Cheney seem to do--- and discovered Mr. Webb was not involved in the chain of command at that time. That, in fact, he opened up more Navy billets to women than ever before (or since) and can be considered to have added greatly to the opportunities for women. As for macho, well... the good parts of macho, maybe. The fact is, I've never found a perfect Christmas tree, or a perfect spouse, or a perfect political candidate. You know what I mean?

Zoomer: Frank O'Lear (Arturo - 4/4/2006 11:34:01 PM)
Zoomer: Frank O'Leary is not Ingrid's boss!  Ingrid is Frank's boss...:-)

Don't forget: The F (Lowell - 4/4/2006 11:34:01 PM)
Don't forget:  The First Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade & Block Festival along Caroline Street in downtown Fredericksburg will begin at 1 p.m., and will feature James Webb as the grand marshal; the University of Mary Washington Eagle Pipe Band's pipers, drummers and dancers; and "Today" show Superstar Anthony Campbell.  Webb supporters will be collecting petition signatures.  If you want to help, just look for a bunch of Webb supporters in green near a small parking lot next to the AMTRAK/VRE train station. Please meet there no later than 11:30 am, a half hour before the official parade gathering & spacing. The actual parade starts at 1 pm. Don't forget to wear GREEN!
