George Allen Finds Iowa "Liberating" Good. Stay There!

So, George Allen finds Iowa "liberating," huh? It's great to "get out of there, to get out in the real world with people who have common sense."  Fascinating, now let's get this straight.  George Allen, Senator from Virginia, needs to travel to Iowa to "get out in the real world with people who have common sense?"  You mean, he can't just got to Roanoke, or Norfolk, or Loudoun County, or Fairfax and find those people?  He has to travel all the way to Cedar Falls for those "real people?"  Fine, then, if you have such a low opinion of people in Virginia, why the heck don't you just STAY in Iowa, George?

Oh, and by the way, if Washington DC's such "a goofy place" and you're such an "outsider," then why on earth are you trying so hard to stay there as Senator or even - God forbid - President?  If you don't believe in government, what are you doing in it?  Why don't you go out and get a job in the private sector, possibly in Iowa or Southern California where you're from, if you think our nation's capital is so terrible?  Just a thought.
