Yesterday, the Republican Senate voted to raise the National Debt Limit to $9 Trillion dollars. Every man, woman, and child in America now owes $30,000 each in debt. Babies, Grandparents, siblings, friends - every single person in America $30 grand. Thanks a lot, Republicans.
Senator Minority Leader Harry Reid had this to say on the subject of President Bush and the effect his presidency has had on the future of America, "I really do believe this man will go down as the worst president this country has ever had."
Oh, and don't forget who supported him 96% of the time, including this time in the Senate: Virginia Republican Senator George Allen.
