David Ashe, a Marine veteran who served in Iraq, has now transferred jobs director of the Department of Business Assistance - a job that requires confirmation by the General Assembly.  Ashe will now lead the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation, which apparently requires no such confirmation.  Why did Ashe make the changes so suddenly, just two weeks after being chosen by Tim Kaine to head the Business Assistance Department?  According to a reliable source, echoing the story that NLS first broke:

You think the Danny LeBlanc blockage was evil?  They are about to do it to David Ashe.  Emails are going around between Republicans saying that he impersonated a police officer to help out at 9-11.

David was appointed by Kaine to head a business agency.  They are going to "LeBlanc" David and block his confirmation.

Is "LeBlancing" something like "Swift Boating?'  Sure seems that way.
