Speaking of godly, don't I recall that Mr. DeLay "found Jesus" (or Jesus found him) and he officially became a born again Christian, prayer breakfasts with Robertson and the family values crew, and so on. And the self-named born against usually stick up for each other without reservation. It's enough to give all religion a bad name (IMHO)

What the hell does s (DanG - 4/4/2006 11:33:04 PM)
What the hell does sombody from Houston Texas know about Virginian Stonewall Jackson?  Stonewall Jackson didn't die taking bullets for his troops, he died BY his troops.  Jackson was accidently shot by Confederate soldiers in the dark.  He died later of his wounds.  As a Civil War Buff, and a Democrat not afraid to admire both Jackson and Lee (don't give me that "they were racist" crap, both men believed in abolition of slavery, but on their OWN terms, not the federal government's), I can say that Tom DeLay is in no way like Stonewall Jackson.  Jackson was a brave, loyal, Godly man.  The only God DaLay worships is the which ever one will save his butt.
