When Chap ran for this State Senate seat in 2007, he outlined a fairly thorough Virginia 2.0: "A vision for our community, our state and our world."
"The objective: to make Fairfax County and the Commonwealth of Virginia a leader in energy efficiency, environmental protection and sustainable living", he writes. It was this vision that helped him win a tough election against the incumbent, and prompted his introducing the "Clean Energy Future" bill.
Join us in asking Chap about this bill and others like his Green Buildings Act, Conservation of trees during development bill, and a bill requiring the SCC to require its applicants to demonstrate need for high-voltage electric transmission lines. We'll also ask Chap about his upcoming plans and thoughts for the 2009 session.
