Virginia Democrats Get Great News for 2009!

As 2008 winds to a close, this is just about the best news that any Virginia Democrat could dream of for 2009!

Frustrated Republican activists allowed embattled state Chairman Jeffrey M. Frederick to keep his job Friday at the party's first gathering since its election losses last month.

Top party officials spoke to the Prince William County delegate about the Nov. 4 election behind closed doors with at least one member questioning his leadership, but the state GOP's governing body did not try to remove him as some had wanted, according to people who attended the session.

Why is this great news for Democrats?  Because, if you haven't been following this guy's antics, he's incompetent, a right-wing extremist, and a serious public relations disaster except to the hard core "base" of the Republican Party. If Virginia Republicans want to guarantee that they keep losing elections (as they've done in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008), there's nobody better to lead them than Jeff "Obama/Osama" Frederick.  Nice job, guys! :)

"make sure to [something] another one"

suggestion (TheGreenMiles - 12/6/2008 8:16:37 PM)
"make sure to [giddily re-post everytime he screws up] another one"

Thought that Homo neanderthalensis died out about 50,000 years ago. (FMArouet21 - 12/6/2008 8:38:53 PM)
Jeffrey M. Frederick appears to have proved the paleontologists to be wrong.

Here is a link to an image of a reconstructed Neanderthal woman, "Wilma". Note the strong family resemblance.

Besides the family resemblance, Frederick appears to have inherited Wilma's thought patterns as well.

Maybe Frederick can become a national poster boy for the Republican "base," for whom merely medieval does not suffice and for whom only all-out paleolithic will do.

Long live Frederick the Not-So-Great! (Kindler - 12/7/2008 12:15:12 AM)

Where did this photo come from anyways? (ericy - 12/7/2008 10:03:45 AM)

He looks like such a doofus.

Someone sent it to me (Lowell - 12/7/2008 10:18:02 AM)
along with another good one of Frederick drinking a beer.

What an UGLY MUG.... (ub40fan - 12/7/2008 10:28:40 AM)
As RK rides off into the Sunset ... I think I would be posting pictures from the Tim Kaine or Jim Webb campaigns ...Pictures of folks who took action on those progressive ideas RK promulgated.

And leave the seen with some smiling faces. This guy Jeff Frederick is .... well revolting.

Just a thought ... thanks for Raising Kaine.
