I have never been more delighted to be associated with a group of people such as yourselves in all my life. The research, the well thought out articles and support you have all shown to our Democratic candidates, is second to none.
You should all pat yourselves on the back and take a moment to revel in the results of Election 2008.
Now the real work begins, to make sure our elected officials have the grassroots support to make some of the changes they see are needed.
No one expects them to do it all, or to do it fast. It has taken years to bring us to our current conditions and it will take years to correct.
Just think about it for a minute, we, as Americans and Virginian's now have the "tools" (for lack of a better phrase), to bring about real change!
