Next Drake faced Phil Kellam of the Beach
House victory was in Democrats' reach.
Phil caught her red-handed
But Thelma's Rovian mud landed
And you couldn't clean that slime up with bleach.
Then in Congress for four years she voted.
Hates the press, 'cause she's always misquoted.
She tried buyin' a highway
For Pat Robertson's byway
Even Bush laughed when this one was floated.
Then Thelma Drake noticed the thrill
Democrats took over Capitol Hill
Oops! she voted against vets
How dumb can she get?
Now she's lyin' 'bout Webb's GI bill.
Drake voted against children's health
While boosting her personal wealth
She bought some foreclosures
Risked negative exposure
But hey, she won't have to tighten her belt!
She campaigns against liberals with smears
Blames them that base closings came near?
As you will recall
Drake did nothing at all
Now she's selling us nothing but fear.
So what is Drake pushing this time?
As usual, she's throwing the slime

Gives her a big thrill

As Drake's party has started to crack
She does nothing but nap, then attack
Thelma continues to lie
But we're keen on Glenn Nye
