It has come to my attention that one or more campaigns for Lt. Governor have accused the Petersen campaign of paying me for my ongoing series about the candidates for Lt. Governor. That is not true. I am a student and an unpaid volunteer for the Petersen campaign. Neither Chap Petersen, his campaign, nor anyone on their behalf has encouraged me to write those posts, paid me for them, provided their contents for me, or otherwise compensated me for them. All material supplied for those posts by a campaign was quoted as being such, but all other opinions in those posts were mine. Prominent disclaimers were posted at the tops of those articles. I am very upset that accusations of that nature would be leveled against me, particularly since the campaign(s) did not contact me personally with their concerns.
