I've heard McCain's internals show him close (DanG - 10/29/2008 7:24:06 PM)
Show him up 4 points or so in Florida, which is contrary to the average showing Obama up four points.  I think McCain's model is simply off.  Nate Silver is already criticizing the regular crowd for being too conservative with their models in regards to youth and African-American turnout, I think McCain is the extreme of that.

Either that... or they know something that we don't...

Thanks so much, Sarah... (cycle12 - 10/29/2008 8:37:32 PM)
George W. Bush has been the Democratic Party's greatest recruitment tool over the past several years and you, Sarah, have worked very hard to make sure that John McCain does not become our next President, nor you our next Vice-President.

Thanks again, young lady; we may not have been able to do it without you!

The gift that keeps on giving. (Tiderion - 10/30/2008 3:07:18 AM)
Sarah Palin doesn't realize it yet but she is energizing the ignorant and the extreme of her party. The classic Conservative Republican will leave his own party rather than stand under a Palin headed party. I believe that because they were irked by Bush but Palin is far beyond Bush as he was beyond his own father. We might be seeing the end of the Republican Party lest someone like Jindal step in to intercede on behalf of our valued adversaries in the face of a coup by extremists.
