4 DAYS LEFT OPEN THREAD: Action and voting diary

We're in "now or never" territory, folks.  If you were planning on doing some volunteering or voting early or emailing friends and family, no more procrastinating.  For the home stretch, I'll post a daily open thread where you all can discuss ideas and suggestions for last-week action, with some pointers from me as well.  As always, the "Obama Central" graphic here and on the side bar links to Obama's Virginia volunteer page.

THESE ARE THE LAST TWO DAYS OF IN-PERSON ABSENTEE VOTING.  Firm up your plans for yourself or anyone you know who can vote today or tomorrow.  Seriously: make this your #1 agenda item now!  And, students, can you organize a big "ride to the polls" visit for your friends for Saturday?  More in Sunday's diary and at Obama's Vote Early in Virginia page. (Check with your local registrars office on times, include whether they're open Saturday).

Also on the action agenda: Contact your undecideds and persuadables.  Do you know someone who isn't decided yet? Or is only leaning one way or the other?  Or might support Obama, but needs some encouragement to get to the polls?  Think over Obama's plans to change America, and target your list of undecideds and persuadables with tailored emails or phone calls now about the things they care about!  If you find out that there's some anti-Obama smear they've heard that's holding them back, be armed with Obama's "Fight the Smears" debunking info.  This is when the "not sure yet" contingent starts making up their mind.

Okay, the open thread is open for all volunteering and voting related discussion!  Previous open threads linked on the flip....
