Short answer for Palin: yes, people who bomb abortion clinics are terrorists. Does that clear it up for ya? Any other questions?

P.S. Oh, yeah, and people who believe in seceding from the United States, like your husband and his Alaskan Independence Party pals do, are called "secessionists."  Why did you address that group's convention again, especially when its leader referred to the stars and stripes as a "damn flag" and bragged about his "hatred for the American government?"

This woman is a disaster....  What was McCain thinking about?  I wonder if he wishes he could put back the clock.

And it appears to me... (Dave N. - 10/24/2008 8:44:28 AM)
...that she's already starting her 2012 campaign for president a little early, before the nails are even in the coffin.

It's not just her husband's ties with secessionists... (KathyinBlacksburg - 10/24/2008 9:11:29 AM)
While Palin didn't officially join the AIP, Palin was advised by two former leaders of the AIP in nearly everything she did.  She attended at least one and possibly two AIP conventions.  AIP members took Sarah under their wing and actually chose for her appointments to boards etc. Read Salon's coverage here. Secessionist "Dude" Todd Palin served as almost a co-governor, sitting in on meetings, enforcing his view on Alaska politics.

Also note that, in her remote address to the AIP she used the words "sufficiency" with regard to Alaska.  And she applauded the AIP's efforts in that regard here.

Notice the eye-flick (Teddy - 10/24/2008 9:43:51 AM)
from interviewer toward McCain as he asked the question--- which I thought was directed to "John" not Sara, anyway. Was the tape spliced to cut out McC's response and go directly to Palin's answering the question, or did she simply elbow in and answer for John, or did they both answer and McCain's answer was cut out? I'm curious.

Hey Sarah? (Pain - 10/24/2008 2:03:22 PM)

Your other bible, the Patriot Act, says they ARE terrorists.

The Patriot Act amended 18 U.S.C. 2331 as follows

(5) the term "domestic terrorism" means activities that-
(A) involve acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State;
(B) appear to be intended-
(i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;
(ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or
(iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and
(C) occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the United States.

So yeah, Sarah, anyone who bombs an abortion clinic is a domestic terrorist. Even in the FAKE parts of America, like Northern Virginia.
