McNasty and His Evil Twin: Giuliani Robo-Calls on a Phone Line Near You

Let there be no mistake. I am steamed. Here in the Burg, local Dems have had an unusual "trick" foisted upon us this Halloween season. We've been blanketed with Republican robo-calls. There's the one that falsely claims Barack Obama will raise your taxes if you only make $42,000.  There's the one absurdly claiming Barack cares more about Hollywood than solving the economic crisis.  (This from the campaign that did absolutely nothing to help and tried to manipulate and exploit the crisis.) Then a live GOP caller called me and I told him to never call me this number again.  And I added that I (we) would never, ever vote for a Republican.  And then the really hateful "Ayers" robo-call, the facts of which have been disproved over and over. But they continue to outdo themselves, this Team McNasty.  Now there is this:
I got this robo-call yesterday:
Hi, this is Rudy Giuliani and I'm calling for John McCain and the Republican National Committee, because you need to know that Barack Obama opposes mandatory prison sentences for sex offenders, drug dealers, and murderers. It's true, I read Obama's words myself. And recently, Congressional liberals introduced a bill to eliminate mandatory prison sentences for violent criminals -- trying to give liberal judges the power to decide whether criminals are sent to jail or set free. With priorities like these, we just can't trust the inexperience and judgment of Barack Obama and his liberal allies. This call was paid for by the Republican National Committee and McCain-Palin 2008.

I don't know about you, but I plan to tell everyone I know about this call.  I hold the morally bankrupt John McCain responsible for his menagerie of hate.  And as for Rudy, well, why am I not surprised?  One has only to replay his 2004 convention speech to see the worm turn.
