Goode is still lying about televised debate!

Apparently the Perriello campaign caught up to Virgil on the road Saturday Oct. 18, and questioned him directly about the cancelled debate.

Goode, in his "infinite wisdom" continued to deny it had ever been scheduled.
Well, that denial goes against all the known facts. Not really a surprise where Virgil Goode is concerned, he seems to live in a perpetual state of denial.

Some folks here in the 5th CD will tell you "I've known Virgil all my life, so I'm voting for him".

Well, I know Virgil too, and he will never get my vote when we have a candidate like Tom Perriello!

Come ON (tvhost - 10/20/2008 8:07:42 AM)
I know 1st hand that Virgil Goode Schedules his OWN Tv appearances or radio interviews... He does not get his office staff of campaign people to do it.

He makes sure he does it himself...

If there is a conflict with a tv scheduling it will fall on him.

So if Tucker Watkins did this, he did not tell Virgil about it possibly or just put it on the schedule and the fundraiser was also scheduled.

Riiiiiight. (Lowell - 10/20/2008 8:23:38 AM)
And it took Goode 6 months to notice this and cancel out at the last minute. And monkeys...

Ok (tvhost - 10/20/2008 10:56:32 AM)
So how many people knew about it other than the tv station before it came out in the media?

I sure didn't know that one was scheduled?

I know for a fact he has his own calendar for tv appearances and one for other appearances.. If it was not on his calendar it was not there.

Let's say you're right... (jessicabarba - 10/20/2008 11:35:05 AM)
For the sake of argument, let's say you're right and that Tucker Watkins never told his boss he scheduled the TV debate.

Once he found out that it was happening and that the TV station had already set aside the airtime and had already been advertising for it and taking questions from their viewers, don't you think he should have gone ahead and done it?

Do you think it's right that he chose to attend a fundraiser over making his case to his constituents in a time of economic crisis? Is that the kind of leadership you expect from a congressman?
