... no sense of decency . . .

As I listened to Sen. McCain in that clip above I could not but think of the words of Joseph Welch to Sen. Joseph McCarthy:

You have done enough. Have you no sense of decency sir, at long last? Have you left no sense of decency?

McCain has been destroying whatever credibility he had first by picking Palin, then by claiming she was qualified, an expert on energy, and all that.

By now, even in his desperation, he should know he has little or no chance of winning, and that his tactics therefore merely damage the country he claims to love.

So let me say again, to him, what Welch said to McCarthy:

You have done enough. Have you no sense of decency sir, at long last? Have you left no sense of decency?

But mccain is a traitor to the human race.
He sleeps with the lying scum that inhabit the Bush white house.

Sense of decency?????
Ask his wife!!!!!

I am sorry that I cant really  express my revulsion  with J mccain.

At least ask his first wife (notjohnsmosby - 10/19/2008 3:02:40 PM)
The one he cheated on, abandoned and then divorced after her car accident left her partially disabled.

It's crystal clear that McCain and his campaign are (hallcr3 - 10/19/2008 3:20:38 PM)
trying to link Obama to some symbol of "extremism" to scare off white voters who aren't intelligent enough to detect the lies.

What's the point of repeatedly bringing up John Lewis? What's the point of repeatedly bringing up William Ayers?

He obviously wants American voters to associate Sen. Obama with some sort of "threat" that can't be trusted. This is absolutely disgusting... and it's not working.

May he rot in hell (Great Blue - 10/19/2008 7:03:38 PM)
for bringing up John Lewis like this.

John Lewis is an American hero, Senator.  You should have left it at that.

Take a look at what John Lewis actually said.

McCain is lying and pandering and race-baiting and slandering one of the greatest Americans alive.

He is beyond shame.  He is beyond decency.  He is beyond hope, or help.

Yes (Dave N. - 10/20/2008 9:13:28 AM)
I used to have a lot of respect for McCain. Early on, I was actually hoping he would win the GOP primary. I even considered voting for him at one point. But he has continually disgusted me during the campaign, and I have lost all respect for the man. The lies, the slander, the choice of Palin, the race-baiting, the hiring of the thugs who slandered him in 2000, is sickening. Great Blue is right when he says he is "beyond shame...decency...hope, or help".
