Curious about the reports of hysterical, near-violent Republican crowds, I went Monday’s Sarah Palin rally at Richmond International Raceway, video camera in-hand, to see if I could capture the essence of the event and bring it back to the blogosphere.

The event went off like any other political event I’ve attended and Palin dialed down her rhetoric about Barack Obama considerably. That being said, I did see and hear some pretty educational things at my first McCain campaign rally, this video presents some of the best of what I was able to get on tape. Pardon the poor focus and camera-work, if I had any talent in those areas I wouldn’t be a blogger.

The best part was watching every single Republican around me laugh, roll their eyes or cringe when Jim Gilmore assure the crowd that he was going to win Virginia with the McCain-Palin ticket. McCain-Palin-Gilmore!!

clearly H.W. Junior hasn't done his due diligence on the Alaska Independence party.
