Making Bricks Without Straw

Apparently, Republicans in the Virginia House of Delegates believe that you can build roads and rail without any money.  Well, that got me to thinking what else they might believe.  For instance, perhaps they think that we can:

*Make bricks without straw
*Integrate immigrants into our society without educating them
*Make lemonade without lemons
*Protect marriage without addressing the root causes of divorce (while attacking homosexuals, who have nothing to do with heterosexual divorce)
*Eat an ice cream sundae without whip cream, chocolate sauce or a cherry on top.  Oh, and no spoon either.
*Cure diseases without doing critical stem cell research.
*Make pancakes without a frying pan or any oil.
*Keep our legislators safe by letting them shoot guns in the building.
*Go fishing without a rod, reel, bait, or tackle.  Or a river.  Or fish.
*Achieve energy independence by cutting energy efficiency programs.

These are just a few examples.  Any other ideas?
