Joe McCain Calls Arlington, Alexandria "Communist Country"

Uh, last I checked, John McCain's national campaign HEADQUARTERS is in Arlington. Also, John McCain has one of his many homes in Arlington.  So...why is John McCain living in "Communist Country" (according to his brother Joe, at a rally earlier today in Leesburg, Virginia)? Anyway, here is the audio of Joe McCain. Enjoy, all you commies out there! Ha. :)

JOE MCCAIN: Now sometimes it doesn't make a critical difference in certain presidential elections because either their issues are pretty much the same or times are good and calm or on the other hand, sometimes the majorities are so great that, that that's simply the way it's gonna go. But this is one time where it does make a difference and everyone who's here today can go out and individually make history. That's how important and how close this election is. We are 31 days, Virginia is very very important. I won't say crucial 'cause the campaign has told me not to say that about any one state. But since I'm a Virginian and I've lived here for the last 10 years and before that about every third duty I was [inaudible] in either Arlington or Alexandria, up in communist country, sorry [Crowd laughs]. We, I am a Virginian before I'm anything else and I think it's crucial to take this state, don't tell the campaign I said that and let's do it.

Gee, I wonder if this will make it harder or easier for Arlington to hit its goal of 80% turnout and 80% of the vote for Barack Obama on November 4.  Hmmmm. :)

P.S. Joe McCain had better tell his brother to get his campaign HQ out of "Communist Country" right away. Or maybe the Commies already got him?  Is it too late for our hero, John McCain? (cue scary/ominous music...)

UPDATE #2: Frank Wolf was at that rally, I wonder if he correct Joe McCain since Wolf used to REPRESENT ARLINGTON in Congress!!!
