I can't understand how anyone watching this could vote against Obama (linlu - 9/23/2008 11:04:34 PM)
While McCain lays blame, Obama provides a foundation for a plan to recover from more of the Bush toll.

While McCain reacts emotionally and recklessly, Obama provides a calming voice of reason and the outlines of real plan to fix yet another mess from the Bush toll.

At least the smarter and more thoughtful republicans are finally waking up to the reality that the neocons, that have run their party and this country into the ground, need to be rebuked and disenfranchised.  Some are finally waking up to the fact that McPain will send this country into turmoil and effectively end Democracy as we know it.  I guess that's what happens when these republicans finally start to feel the monetary pain like the rest of us.

Agree. DEfinitely presidential (KathyinBlacksburg - 9/24/2008 5:25:19 PM)
By contrast, the McCain statement boggled the (his) mind.  He is incoherent, talked in circles, and wouldn't commit to much.  Now, of course, he pretends he was on the same page as Obama (on some principles) all along, but actually is claiming them for himself.  If it weren't so serious, it would be laughable.  The idea that McShame is ready for the White House has been disproven over and over, especially in the recent weeks.
