Gerry Connolly and Keith Fimian Debate Tonight

For those of you who are interested, the Prince William Committee of 100 will be hosting a debate tonight between the Congressional candidates in Virginia's 11th district -- Gerry Connolly and Keith Fimian. The debate will be held at the Montclair Country Club (which is located at 16500 Edgewood Dr., Montclair, VA) and the actual debate will start at 7:45. According to the Committee of 100's website, the debate will be moderated by Matt Brock of ABC 7 and Newschannel 8.
Since we have seen some negative campaigning recently instead of a discussion over the major concerns people have here in the 11th, this debate presents the candidates with a great opportunity to actually discuss the issues. Hopefully they will realize this and tell us about some of their concrete ideas on issues such as health care, balancing the cost of energy with protecting our environment, the economy, and education.
