Just a reminder for all you who need to register or get others registered that the deadline is fact approaching! October 6th is just three weeks away! So if you were planning on registering yourself or a friend or family members, put it on the top of your "To Do" list.
Plus, the voter registration offices are likely to get swamped right around the deadline, so make life easier on them by registering as soon as possible. The more backlog in October, the harder it will be for them to ensure that every registration is completed in time.
To that end, the Obama campaign has unveiled a new Vote For Change registration system that you can access by clicking this graphic. It asks some simple questions to either verify that you're ready to vote, or it provides you with the information and forms for you to register. You can also check your registration status by using this online form from the Virginia State Board of Elections.
