Tim Kaine's "Lead" Ad: No "Ducking" Here!

As a public service to our loyal readers, we have transcribed Tim Kaine's latest radio ad, "Lead."  Please let us know if you hear or see ANYTHING in here about Jerry Kilgore's "accent," because we sure don't.  And please note that Tim Kaine reads this ad all by himself...amazing, huh?

I'm Tim Kaine, and I'm running for governor.  If I have something to say, I'm not afraid to say it myself.  But Jerry Kilgore has been making things up about me, and letting slick radio announcers do his dirty work.  Virginia deserves a leader who says what he believes himself.

Mark Warner and I have made tough choices to put Virginia's financial house in order. We've brought Republicans and Democrats together to balance the budget and to put Virginia back on the right track.

But Jerry Kilgore doesn't like what we did. He ducked the problem, tried to kill our budget agreement, and instead wanted to borrow a billion dollars to fund the government. Now he has a new idea that would raise your property taxes.

Leaders lead.  But Jerry Kilgore ducks problems and divides people. Virginia needs a governor who will be straight with people and who can speak for himself.

I'm Tim Kaine, candidate for governor.

UPDATE (4:27 PM ET):  Big, bad, Michelle Malkin is on the case, repeating the same lies about Tim Kaine that she hears in the right-wing echo chamber.  Sadly, the echo chamber is hollow.  Echo, echo, echo....
