McCain Blasts Palin's "Bridge to Nowhere"

Courtesy of TPM Election Central, here's John McCain attacking the "Bridge to Nowhere," which his running mate Sarah Palin supported. McCain also attacks "earmarks for studying the DNA of animals, which Palin [has now] requested" (According to The Politico, "Palin requested millions of federal dollars for everything from improving recreational halibut fishing to studying the mating habits of crabs and the DNA of harbor seals.")

Hypocrisy, thy name is Republican!

UPDATE: One of the strongest smackdowns of Palin I've seen is in the Boston Globe: "Unfit to stand so close to presidency."

On the subject of Palin (Lowell - 9/11/2008 1:31:52 PM)
and whether we should be spending time discussing her, I think that this nails it: "The Road To McCain Runs Through Palin."

I loved the idea for the Pig ad, (Pain - 9/11/2008 3:04:03 PM)

It's an idea I had too, but they define it perfectly.  The lipstick'd pig should be the 'bridge to nowhere' for the dems, and the pig ad one would be true.
