Message to Jim Gilmore: Don't Tug on Superman's Cape!

Jim Gilmore's idiotic attacks on Mark Warner have apparently awakened a sleeping giant. According to the Warner campaign:
Today, our campaign responded to the inaccurate and misleading attacks contained in a new television commercial authorized by the Jim Gilmore for Senate campaign and funded by the Republican Party of Virginia. The campaign announced that this response ad will begin airing tonight in the same TV markets where the Gilmore attack ad currently is being broadcast.
The message here? Don't tug on Superman's cape...and don't mess around with Mark Warner! :)

Idiotic doesn't begin to describe him. He's so delusional it's almost entertaining.
I just realized something: since Gilmore announced that he will appear at the rally in Fairfax tomorrow, that must be why the request for tickets doubled.

Chichester and Callahan, being moderate Republicans of the Old School, are absolutely loathed by the Gilmore righties. So the ad will only drive the wedge deeper between the senisble Republicans and Gilmore's delusionals. Anyone know if Tom Davis is going to show up at the rally at Fairfax High? It's right in his back yard.... or, is he on a sabbatical?
