We are officially 61 days till the Election and things are starting to heat up here at VAYD!
First, I'm excited to tell you VAYD has launched a new website. Check it out here! We got more than a facelift and have great programs for people to get involved in, an easier way to join local chapters, and resources available to the community. Stop by and get involved!
Second, we are kicking off the Young Voter Revolution Campaign and I'd like to officially welcome aboard three new staffers, Campaign Director Danny Kedem, and Regional Field Directors Erick Sanchez (NOVA) and Ally McIntosh (Hampton Roads)! They join our Executive Director, Christie Ann Bieber, in this Year of the Young Voter to reach out to young people where they live and where they hang out. With your help, we can turn Virignia Blue and get more young people to the polls than ever before!
The campaign is kicking off this Sunday, September 7 at 12:00PM, at our two new offices in Fairfax Station and Virginia Beach. I hope you can join us for one of the two kick offs and meet other Young Dems in the area. Remember, we're young and we will swing the vote, we're Democrats and our votes will be counted, we're voting and our voices will be heard!
