The Hague is Looking Better and Better

Sad to say, but the Saddam Hussein trial - which I have supported - is turning into a complete farce. Is it time to move it to The Hague or somewhere else? The bottom line, as Washington University law professor Leila Sadat argues, is that this whole thing is becoming an "embarrassment." Sadat continues, "The American government, I think, has been extraordinarily naive to try to push for an Iraqi trial in an Iraqi court in the middle of civil war using international or American law." Either that, or just summarily execute Saddam. I mean, what's the point of this if it simply allows the blood-soaked dictator to make a mockery of justice once again in his life? I'm really starting to wonder.
