*** 9/1 Arlington Democrats' Chili Cookoff ***

Meet our local candidates, learn more about Obama and Warner, listen to get music, sample Arlington's best chili, and discover how you can help Arlington Turn Virginia Blue.

The Chili Cook-Off takes place rain or shine at Lyon Park (414 N Fillmore St.) from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.  Tickets can be purchased at the event, and the cost is $35 for individuals, $25 for AYD and seniors, with children 15 and under free.  

If you are interested in donating food or drink (soda, beer, cornbread, veggies, desserts, etc), please contact Michelle McCall at mccallmi@yahoo.com.  

PS - Bring your kids to play on the moonbounce which is being donated by the Garvey and Violand-Sanchez campaigns.

This is an in-home training event. We will cover how to obey Virginia law in registering voters; how to run an effective voter registration event; and, how to train others to do the same. No experience needed.
