Comments

Great program! (Ron1 - 8/28/2008 11:10:22 AM)
I think it is very cool that the Yonder Mountain String Band is performing -- people should get there early and check 'em out, they're great. ... I am still hoping for a Bruce Springsteen performance at the end.

And Shawn Johnson to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. She was wearing peace earrings and a t-shirt during her interview with Bob Costas during the Olympics in the studio after she won her gold medal, so a smart and deserved choice.

Also, VERY smart to have Susan Eisenhower in prime time before Scott Gration. Now, again, will the broadcast and cable nets oblige and actually carry the speech? Prolly not, and you can bet Fox News surely won't (wouldn't want a bad word in the propaganda).
