I'll be following the results of the John Montgomery (D) vs. Chris Peace (R) House of Delegates  race in the 97th district. Please feel free to use this as an open thread...

7:18 PM
Peace (R) 739 (59.98%)
Montgomery (D) 488 (39.61%)
Note:  no results are in from Montgomery's home county of Henrico.  Peace has a 232 vote lead in his home county of Hanover (with 3 of 8 precincts reporting). That's most of Peace's lead.

7:26 PM
Peace (R) 1,970 (53.56%)
Montgomery (D) 1,677 (45.60%)
Still nothing from Henrico.  Montgomery wins King and Queen County (160-127), while Peace wins King William County (680-639) and leads in New Kent County (462-411), along with his 232 vote lead in Hanover (still 3 of 8 precincts reporting).

7:30 PM
Peace (R) 2,166 (53.10%)
Montgomery (D) 1,878 (46.04%)
Montgomery leads in Henrico, 201-195, with 1 precinct reporting out of 4 total.  Peace wins Spotsylvania County by 3 votes (136-133), and maintains his 232 vote lead in Hanover (still 3 of 8 precincts reporting).

7:34 PM
Peace (R) 3,616 (53.83%)
Montgomery (D) 3,046 (45.35%)
Peace is maintaining his overall lead.  Montgomery leads in Henrico, 272-236, with 2 precincts reporting out of 4 total.  Montgomery also wins King and Queen (160-127) and Caroline (966-583).  Peace wins Hanover decisively (1,527-857), which could be his key to victory unless something changes dramatically - and soon!

7:40 PM
Peace (R) 3,751 (51.76%)
Montgomery (D) 3,438 (47.44%)
Peace's lead shrinks, but time is running out.  Henrico (2 of 4 precincts reporting) and New Kent (4 of 10 precincts) are the only two counties remaining.  Are there enough votes in those 2 counties for Montgomery to catch up?  He needs to gain 313 votes.

7:44 PM
Peace (R) 4,107 (50.62%)
Montgomery (D) 3,942 (48.59%)
Peace's lead shrinks some more.  There are 4 more precincts left in New Kent, and 1 more in Henrico.  Montgomery needs 165 votes to catch up, which appears difficult but doable.

7:48 PM
Peace (R) 4,108 (50.61%)
Montgomery (D) 3,944 (48.59%)
Peace's lead shrinks by 1 vote.  There are 4 more precincts left in New Kent (currently 687-671 for Peace).  Montgomery needs 164 votes to catch up, which will be really tough, if not impossible given the way New Kent is running.

7:52 PM
Peace (R) 4,192 (50.79%)
Montgomery (D) 3,994 (48.39%)
Just 3 more precincts in New Kent are left, and Peace is ahead by 198 votes.  Not looking good for the "blue" team. :(

7:58 PM
Peace (R) 4,391 (50.61%)
Montgomery (D) 4,216 (48.59%)
Just 1 more precinct - Providence Forge - in New Kent County is left, and Peace is ahead by 175 votes.  REALLY not looking good for the "blue" team. :(
