7:30pm, Alexandria Democratic Committee - Watch Barack Obama Accept Your Nomination at Fireflies, 1501 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria. Come join the Democatic Convention-we're bringing Denver to Del Ray. There will be live music, prizes for precincts and precinct captains. Listen to Obama's acceptance speech on the Big Screen of the Democratic Party's nomination for the President of the United States. Food will be provided by Fireflies and drinks can be purchased at the bar. This is a fundraiser to help the Alexandria Democratic Committee with all the fall campaigns- Jim Moran for Congress, Mark Warner for Senate, and Barack Obama for President.
