New Virginia Poll: Obama +2, Warner +23

Sen: Warner (D) 55, Gilmore (R) 32
(July: Warner 57, Gilmore 32)

Considering the margin of error, the August results are identical to July's. Gilmore isn't closing the oceanic gap and McCain remains slightly behind despite gambling his heroic image by going so heavily negative.

And if this isn't motivation to go canvass or phone bank for Obama next weekend, I don't know what is:

"Election night could well come down to Virginia and Colorado," said Dean Debnam, president of Public Policy Polling. "Polls are showing them as the tightest in the nation, and more than likely if Barack Obama can win just one of them he’ll get the keys to the White House."
