Everybody wants to go to Denver, including my son, Asher, left, who really really wants to come along.

We're heading for Denver. Ben Tribbett from NLS will join James Martin and me, Josh Chernila, reporting live from the Democratic National Convention in Denver Starting Monday.

Check here and at NLS all week long. We'll be dividing floor coverage so that we can also cover a small selection of the astonishing array of events taking place around the Convention, and so that Ben can work on an amazing project with C-SPAN, covering new media.

Here's our floor coverage schedule:
Monday: RK has the floor for the opening day.  The theme is "ONE NATION".

Monday's headline prime-time speaker will be Michelle Obama.

Tuesday: NLS will provide coverage of "RENEWING AMERICA'S PROMISE".

Senator Hillary Clinton will be the headline prime-time speaker and former Virginia Governor Mark Warner will deliver the keynote address on Tuesday night. Pay Equity pioneer Lilly Ledbetter will also address the Convention on Tuesday.

Wednesday: We'll split coverage.  NLS will cover the "SECURING AMERICA'S FUTURE" through Bill Clinton's address and RK will pick up and cover through Joe Biden's Vice Presidential Address.

The headline prime-time speaker on Wednesday will be Barack Obama's Vice Presidential Nominee, Senator Joe Biden.

Thursday: RK will again provide coverage for "CHANGE YOU CAN BELIEVE IN", as 75,000 rally in the biggest Nomination Acceptance event since JFK accepted the nomination at the Los Angeles Coliseum in 1960.

On Thursday night, the DNCC will throw open the doors of the Convention and move to INVESCO Field at Mile High so that more Americans can be a part of the fourth night of the Convention as Barack Obama accepts the Democratic nomination. Obama will communicate the urgency of the moment, highlight the struggles Americans are facing and call on Americans to come together to change the course of our nation.

Keep checking back at RK and NLS throughout the week for interviews, updates, live blogs, and in-depth reporting LIVE from the Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado.

Yes We Can!

Hey Josh, keep an eye out for Mark Levine as well (Used2Bneutral - 8/23/2008 9:40:06 AM)
Mark will be there with two different new technologies we have worked up to do live interviews from the convention on Monday night at 7 PM EDT via the Internet. The feed from Denver will go to our normal TV studios in Merrifield Virginia and then webcast, cablecast as usual.....He will also be bringing back numerous clips from a bunch of scheduled other interviews all week with many "Electeds".... we may interrupt some other programming later in the week if it is justified to bring back more "Live" as well.... Six of our crew from the Inside Scoop will be out there either as elected delegates, staff, or participants.....

PS.... we just did a new video resume that has been helping Mark get the connections we have needed... http://www.radioinsidescoop.co...

And I guess Lowell must be too, since he isn't going.  What's th deal there?

And Ben - say hi to Governor Kaine while you are there.  I'm sure he would LOVE to hear from you.
