"Mushers"?
Is Virgil saying he wants to silence sled dog racers, or wants more mute Canadians in Congress?

Mush heads? (JohnCos - 8/14/2008 11:06:20 AM)
The Daily Progress claims he said "mush heads" but I think the audio shows it's "mushers." Bizarre either way.

That must be a new "dog whistle" word (VA Breeze - 8/14/2008 11:53:49 AM)
that we are not aware of . it sounds a little like he was saying "muslim"

Creative use? (uva08 - 8/15/2008 2:51:33 PM)
How about idiotic use.  I cringe every time I think that this guy "represents" me in Congress.  In addition to referring to "mushers" he also talks about how ridiculous it is to spend money in a foreign nation.  This is coming from a guy who has stood by George Bush 100% on the Iraq where we are spending billions each year for an unclear purpose without a clear plan.  It's also interesting to note that Goode justified not voting for the stimulus package for middle class families by saying it would cost the government too much money.  So I guess those tax cuts for the rich that he supported didn't cost the government too much?  Anyone have a cost comparison of the middle class cuts and the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy?
