Tim Pawlenty: People Don't Want to Follow a "Negative" Person...Like Him Perhaps?

Well, this sure makes a lot of sense.

1. Possible McSame VP pick, Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, first says "[People] don't want to follow some negative, scornful person."

2. Pawlenty then says, "Say what you will about Barack Obama, and I say a lot of negative things about him."

In other words, according to Pawlenty's own reasoning (and the transitive property of political stupidity), people don't want to follow HIM, because he says "a lot of negative things" and that's not what people want.  Is all that clear? Ha.

Now, I DO agree with Tim Pawlenty on one thing, "People gravitate when you've got something positive to say."  Exactly, which is why tens of millions of Americans are gravitating to...Barack Obama! :)

P.S. Please, Sen. McCain, pick this guy as your running mate!

I grew up in Minnesota.. (ericy - 8/7/2008 6:55:53 AM)

and I have a lot of family there.  My sense is that the guy is a real empty suit.  Not terribly sharp, but he seems to be able to parrot the party line, which in the Republican party is evidently sufficient.
