Today I received the following email:
-------------------
Dear Ken,

Are you a military veteran -- or do you know a military veteran -- who supports Barack Obama for President?  Virginia Veterans for Obama is working to sign up fellow veterans to help push Barack Obama over the top this November.  Virginia boasts one of the largest military and veteran populations in the country, so this effort will make a big difference here, and our 13 electoral votes can be the difference nationally.  Here's how you can help right now:

Let's honor the brave men and women who go into harm's way for our country -- and the families they leave waiting and worrying at home -- by electing Barack Obama and restoring America's tradition of international leadership based on respect, admiration, and good judgment, and not simply fear.  Let's give our returning warriors a president who will honor them not just with words but with the services they need to transition home with dignity and honor.  Please help us reach out to Virginia's veterans today!

Sincerely,

(U.S. Air Force 1992-2004)

I am a Veteran, and as I did with Veterans for Webb, I plan to participate in this effort.

How about you?
