No big plans on Saturday from 10-2? Attend an Obama office opening!

If you're looking for something to do or have some plans that can get moved around, here's a group of important Commonwealth-wide events that almost anyone in Virginia should be able to reach:

The Campaign for Change is opening offices across the Commonwealth this Saturday, July 19th. Show your support by attending one of these events. Most office openings are from 10am-2pm, except for our Charlottesville [7-9 pm] and Norfolk [2-5 pm] offices. Please check [after the jump] for the exact time and address of the office nearest you.

This Saturday is a great opportunity for us to kick off Obama's drive to turn Virginia blue with a bang.  There should be tons of free media accompanying these events in almost every corner of the Commonwealth, so we should make these well-attended events to show the Virginia local press and its audience the groundswell of grassroots excitement for Obama.

So, dive into the extended entry for the address and times of the office openings and click here to RSVP!

Looking forward to Saturday (Barbara - 7/17/2008 9:30:51 PM)
A statement like this just wants me to work harder:  Todays Washington Post:

Del. Christopher B. Saxman (R-Staunton), a co-chairman of McCain's Virginia campaign, said Obama's efforts "sound like a tremendous waste of money." "They could be a lot more effective with probably half that number," Saxman said. "It is being done to create this image of momentum and enthusiasm that frankly is just not out there."

Really?  Momentum and enthusiasm that is 'just not out  there'?  Thanks Mr. Saxman; you've got me pumped.
