McSame's Gay-Bashing AL Campaign Chair Caught Having Gay Sex?

Score another one for the Republican hypocrites' list.

In an all-to-familiar turn of events, Alabama AG Troy King, the chair of John McCain's state campaign, was reportedly caught by his wife inflagrante dilecto giving his male assistant a bit of the old "How's your father!?"

Wonkette has the ahem.. blow by blow:

This may come as a shock, but a prominent anti-homosexual Republican attorney general has apparently been caught having homosexual sex intercourse with his homosexual gay male assistant. Bonus: The dude's wife caught him, in their bed. This is the rumor that the AG's office has officially denied, so now of course everybody is spilling the sordid details.

AG in question is Troy King, who, of course, is only interested in outlawing homosexuality and sex toys. His gay lover is either a college "buddy," or a very young youngster and "Homecoming King" from Troy University.

Actions speak louder than words, or so says Mr. King:

"Alabama is a state where actions definitely speak louder than words," said King. "More than just talk, John McCain's strong record of support for state rights, and his devotion to the conservative principles of protecting life and the institution of marriage make him the right leader for Alabama."

Rumor has it that a resignation is in the works.  awwww...

This Mr. King is apparently yet another gay-bashing, self-loathing, closeted homosexual scoring political points by trampling human rights and abusing the faith of people who actually have a religious issue with homosexuality.  Haven't we seen this all through the Bush years?

It looks more and more like McSame really does represent everything Bush, only angrier and more out of touch.

shell shocked (The Grey Havens - 7/11/2008 8:21:08 PM)
After living through 8 years of this bs, I'm starting to think I need to get examined for ptsd.  It's amazing!  Every day for 8 years, it's another test of how far conservatives and Republicans can drift from the standards of humanity and decency I thought were inherent to American life.  It's just endless.

As a firm believer in marriage equality, I have always found hate amendments like the one passed in Virginia back in 2006 about as despicable as Jim Crow laws.   But these hypocrites who gain power by supporting hate really do deserve a special kind of derision*.

There is a sickness inside of the heart of conservatism.  It isn't homosexuality, it's a sick mixture of greed and hate, and it plays itself out like every repressive thing - in sickness and decay.

*I wanted to say "place in hell", but it's not my place to dole out judgment.  That's for the almighty.

Is there a real source for this other than the blogosphere?
