One of the hardest things to grasp about Barack Obama is his astonishing humility. The mere acto of running for president would seem to require an astonishing amount of pride. Titles like President, Commander in Chief, Leader of the Free World, are the most august we have in the modern era, to reach for them is an act that in itself seems to belay astonishing hubris.
Barack Obama's nature and leadership, however point towards a humility that is rarely seen in politics and may be the source of his astonishing success and promise.
