If the Dems grant . . . (JPTERP - 6/21/2008 11:26:09 PM)
the telecoms full legal immunity on the FISA issue there's a pretty good chance that Obama campaign can make up some ground by relying less on small dollar donations.

That seems to be the calculation of the Democratic leadership.  Maybe Obama is simply following suit.

Obama's fundraising with small donors will ramp up when his campaign merits more donations.  This past week though was a profile in cowardice.

Will things be better if John McCain wins?  100 years in Iraq?  The open acknowledgement that he doesn't understand economics so he's just going to follow Bush's status quo?  A supreme court loaded with new appointees who follow his definition of "justice," ie, don't believe in or acknowledge anything as foundationally constitutional as a writ of Habeas Corpus?

But I suppose in the face of rising foreclosure rates, bank failures, sky-rocketing energy prices, and rising food costs I should mainly be concerned about telecom immunity.  Let's start handing out the "four more years" placcards now....
