Tom Davis: Vote Fimian Because He's Purdy

No kidding, the following appeared in an interview Rep. Tom Davis did with the Washington Post:

Fimian's great challenge will be to run apart from, if not away from, President Bush, Davis says. "What's happening across the country is a reaction against Bush," he says. And Davis says Fimian will lack the key advantage that let Davis keep winning by healthy margins in an increasingly Democratic district: "The thing that I had that Keith won't is the deep support among federal employees. That's the result of years and years of work on their behalf." But Davis adds that Fimian has an advantage of his own: "He's much better looking than I am."

Keith Fimian (who was apparently a stunt double for David Hasselhoff on Baywatch) is better looking than his Democratic opponent Gerry Connolly as well... but Connolly has a strong progressive record as Chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors and more than a decade in public service while Fimian is an extreme right wing multi-millionare who has never been elected to office... What a Tough Choice!

Go Gerry!

The Who speak to what is going on in the 11th Congessional District in Virginia.  I am not sure where my Who's Next cd is but I remember that line from a song on the album.  The residents of the 11th Congressional District are experiencing the worst of American Politics.  It is a real shame.  In a year when the residents of another part of the Washington Metro region got rid of a money grubbing pol from Maryland named Albert Wynn, here in Virginia someone from that class of scum is replacing Al.  He won't necessarily vote like Al on all the issues, but he'll be there for the corporate sector.

The DINO running to replace Mr. Davis is not exactly Mr. Sunshine when it comes to government ethics and accountability.

Tom, did you ask Keith what he will do for the economy? (Andrea Chamblee - 10/16/2008 10:04:36 AM)
Oops, Keith doesn't want to answer that....

That seemingly came out of nowhere because (Andrea Chamblee - 10/16/2008 10:18:38 AM)
