TNR's Fairbanks on Misleading McCain TV Ad

Here's an excerpt from Eve's TNR article:

"It's the only image of McCain in the ad; there's no current photograph at all. I don't feel this is kosher! It implies that the McCain you're getting now is the exact same one -- both inside and out -- that you would have gotten had he run in 1980, which isn't true of any politician, much less McCain. And what other current pol does this?"
