Hard Working White Men for Obama

Should Hillary somehow get the nomination, after yesterday's comment about attracting "hard working whites", I will never be able to pull the lever for her. I heard these exact words on MSNBC's Morning Joe this morning and am totally shocked that she (or anyone) could let such race-baiting sink to such a low level.
As a moderately hard working, rather pale white man, her comments are extremely offensive, and the exact opposite of what this country needs in the wake of 8 horribly divisive years under our supposed "uniter."
Sure it's nice to be competitive, but one should not exploit one's lack of class, in order to gain votes (of course this assumes this will attract votes, and if this tact indeed proves successful, Americans are a lot dumber and more racist than I thought).
Hillary has no shame - I will never support of her or Bill's future efforts.

My wife, who is still strongly sympathetic towards Hillary, although she supports Obama, raised her eyebrows when I told her this quote and didn't believe it right away.
It is sad to see a person whom we once admired so much destroy her own reputation so quickly...

A Scrambled Egghead. She's smart but she's her own worst enemy and has done a lot to reduce her changes to serve effectively even after the campaign. That's pretty scrambled.

This is term is something used to appeal to anti-intellectuals. That includes the right-wing Armageddophiles, and old, angry white men like Rush.
It may work on a candidate with little charisma and lots of brains, but it won't work on a candidate with lots of charisma and lots of brains. In otherwords Obama appeals to both head, heart, and our better angels. Those who feed on hate and fear will have to vote Republican.

As someone who one could describe as an old hard working white man (I'm 58 years old and work at a Psychiatric hospital) I fully support Obama and am sick of the Clintons back stabbing. YES WE CAN!!!
