The Obama Generation

Cool new website alert:  check out www.theobamageneration.com, the point of which is to have people "describe why you care about Senator Barack Obama's campaign and what it means to you." Personally, I think this is great:

TheObamaGeneration.com was a volunteer effort by organizers, coders, editors, and dreamers, most of which are in their twenties. This site was made by the youth, for the people, and it's a testament to the political excitement our generation has discovered for the first time.

So, if you're part of the "Obama Generation," go over the website and tell the world what the Obama campaign means to you!

Oh, cool (Pain - 4/25/2008 9:52:41 AM)
For the past few weeks, I've been feeling really depressed about this election cycle.  I feel Senator Obama has been running against 2 republicans for the past month, and for all the respect I had for the Clintons prior to that, I've lost it watching Senator Clinton trash the Democratic Party for her own gains.

Reading that site reminded me of how I felt several months ago, and of what to expect once Senator Clinton realizes she can't win and drops out, ungracefully.

awesome idea (gypsymoth - 4/25/2008 10:49:22 AM)
Isn't is great when the youth takes an active role beyond "rocking the vote" for free concerts and then not showing up to cast a ballot?  The folks over at the Obama generation sound like a great group of inspired people.

great idea guys.  the site looks great!
