Former Sen. Chafee Calls Clinton a Bush Enabler

This is pretty interesting:  AP reports that in former Sen. Chafee's book, he calls HRC an enabler for Dubya for failing to stand up to Bush on the war in Iraq.  [For full disclosure, I'd never call this debacle in Iraq a war since we've not had a draft, war bonds are missing, and since most of us are untouched and removed from the carnage, which Bush wants us to believe does not exist - can you tell I hate Bush more than anyone?  He wears our flag on his lapel in lieu of knowledge of what our country actually stands for.]

Devastating but true quote from Chafee: (Chris Guy - 3/17/2008 4:14:24 PM)
"Being wrong about sending Americans to kill and be killed, maim and be maimed, is not like making a punctuation mistake in a highway bill," Chafee writes. "They argue that the president duped them into war, but getting duped does not exactly recommend their leadership. Helping a rogue president start an unnecessary war should be a career-ending lapse of judgment, in my view."
Clinton should've admitted she was wrong like Edwards did. When Bob Graham, the Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, along with half the Senate's Democratic Caucus vote against it.... there's really no excuse.

This is rich (jiacinto - 3/17/2008 7:29:33 PM)
Coming from someone who voted for the Republican leadership, to hear Chafee call Clinton a "Bush Enabler" is ridiculous.
