There is a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll out that shows Obama edging ahead of Clinton nationally but within the margin of error in the poll.

However, there is some other interesting pieces of data in the poll that are much more important.

Comparing polls from March, 2007 and the current poll, Hillary Clinton's positive numbers rose from 39% to 45%.

However, Bill Clinton's numbers plummeted.  In March 2007, Bill Clinton's positive/negative numbers were 48% to 35%.  In the current poll, they are 42% to 45%.  I think it is clear as to why his numbers have dropped so sharply.  I think he has clearly damaged his legacy long term.

Obama is looking great when comparing his polling numbers and it appears as more and more voters get to know him, the more they like him.

In the March, 2007 poll, Obama had a 37% to 17% positive/negative rating.  Another 26% said they were neutral and 20% said they were undecided.

In the current poll, his positive/negative rating is 51% to 28%, with 18% saying they were neutral and 3% said they were undecided.
